I used this service to sell my home, and it couldn't have been easier...and it saved me about $7k over a traditional agent.
I listed my home with DIY and Jerry asked for up front payment. I only had 3 people by CSS appointment come to see my home . Got frustrated and took it off the market. Learned later from other Realtors that it is not ethical to have a realtor ask for entire payment upfront before selling the home. It was a considerable amount of money to pay for little result.
We sold a home and live out of state. Jerry was more than helpful and prompt with information and required Texas laws. Our home sold quickly at the price we were happy with. For the flat fee charge it was so economical and easy. I highly recommend DIY.
My wife and I had been casually going to open houses for several months (and for years just for fun) before we started seriously looking for our first home. Absolutely incredible !!! This man got me a contract in a week, did incredible photos, got it on the MLS immediately, did an open house the 1st weekend, AND SAVED ME $10,000. Besides that , he is a really great guy. Early for all appointments, never missed a call, kept my wife and I informed, and showed up at the closing. If you use a full service realtor that costs you over $10,000, you are a fool.
