Parking sucks but Doc is awesome!
I've had Dr Thurman for years and tonight I called because he put me on the g7 15 day cgm. I found out today my phone isn't compatible with it and I don't have a g7 sensor yet. I called the after hour # to talk to him and he got very mad that I called at 8pm on a Friday night well after tomorrow morning I will not be able to see what my blood sugar will be. I called again after talking with the pharmacy and dexcom and told him that if I don't have a way to test my sugar I will more than likely be admitted in the hospital. He... read more
Dr.Thurman is fantastic!! Wish all doctors were as easy going and genuine a person as he is!! Do yourself a favor and visit him!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Thurman’s for years, and he has always been an excellent doctor. I have a lot of confidence in his care and have never had any issues with him personally. However, I recently had a very frustrating experience with the office scheduling. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM and even received two emails in the last 10 days asking me to check in online for the appointment. Dr. Thurman is excellent. I’ve seen a lot of endocrinologist for past couple of decades (as long time as type 1) and he is hands down the best. I’ve been seeing him for over 5 years now and he continues to have my a1c in the best range it’s ever been. He works with you and makes you feel at ease. It’s clear he understands the practicality of life/health/work balance and is accommodating to that. He’s always current in the latest releases and technology too.
