He is very knowledgeable, kind and skillful foot and ankle specialist.I and my family members have been under his care for more than 20 years and very pleased with his practices and also with his polite and caring staff.
I don't recommend Dr.Askin to anybody. He told me I needed surgery for planter fasciitis and truth was all I needed was shockwave therapy. He is not trained or certified to use one so he will look into your insurance and tell you that you need surgery cause thats how he makes his money. I have not been happy with my results and I regret seeing Dr. Askin. It was a big waste of my time. Please see a certified shockwave therapy foot doctor before surgery. Hope this helps.
I saw Dr.Askin yesterday for two painful ingrown toenails and an underfoot wart/callus that caused pain when walking. The process was quick, easy & painless. I left his office leaving the pain I once had behind and am finally comfortable at last he made sure to take his time explaining everything I needed to know & always checked to see if I had any questions that he immediately answered before moving forward with the plan ahead.
