Bad Customer Service. I called customer service asking for the missing chain guard but the person that took the call was rude and not letting me talk. Was offering me a cheap Lizard chain guard because it will take a "year" to get a Marin chain guard. The Marin chain guard that usually comes with this bike is great and beefy. This is the 2nd time I received an item that is missing a part, I bought a Shimano shifter and it did not come to a cable housing. The worst store. A small rim tape, I paid $7.95 and it took 6 days 40 min drive distance. And When I ask return, I had to pay $8.99 return fee. So I just throw it away because tape is not that expensive one. Anyway, don't buy bike parts from this store.
I bought a new 2021 Rockshox Pike Ultimate in 140mm. I was sent 130mm instead. I called them to resolve the issue. They no longer had any 140mm in stock so they stated I could by a new air spring or return the item. Being difficult to find bike parts, I decided to do the air spring. I get a call back saying they have none in stock. They gave me the sku for the new fork. After calling multiple shops I find out that the sku was an expired sku from an older model. This company didn't take out the total nessisary for my order for NO reason what so ever. Then on top of all that they are now not sending all but a random 2 items.
On the other hand, I find Jenson to have excellent customer service. I purchased a bike from them that had issues. They took the bike back, could not locate the source, fully refunded the purchase price, and I bought another (different brand). Gear advisors always returned my calls. Darin helped me through the entire process. Use the phone, email responses were a bit slow. Build quality on my new bike is excellent!
I placed an order that included a tire and a wheel. The tire arrived in 3 days from CA to NC which I consider very quick. The wheel however only showed UPS had created a tracking label and never picked up the package. After 3 weeks of my wheel not arriving or showing up in UPS system, I called Jenson expecting a refund. Instead, the boy I spoke to treated it as a problem between me and UPS. He said “ let me get ahold of UPS and see if I can get some of your money back.” You got to be kidding me. Jenson USA is a poor company to buy from. Beware!!! I bought a set of Dura Ace Rims brand new in box. First ride, 18 miles in, spoke pops. I'm in the middle of a ride, so I find a bike shop and get it fixed. I'm thinking "This is crazy. I just spent almost $900 on a set of rims and the are shit." I get it repaired and think nothing of it. About a week later, I was on a similar ride and two spokes pop on the rear tire. If that's not a shitty product, I don't know what is. Couldn't even purchase a product before I was bombarded with junk mail. I set up an account to save my cart and within a half hour I received two dozen or more junk emails. If the site is promotion phishing scams via email i can only imagine what they'd do with credit card information. Stay away
