I have been a patient of Dr. Twist for many years. Recently I had cataract surgery and had multi-focal lenses implanted. Dr. Twist did a wonderful job. Haven't been without glasses or contacts since 4th grade 60 years ago, now I can see perfectly. Dr. Twist is very conscientious, knowledgeable and thorough. His staff is helpful, kind and patient.
I have gone to Dr. Twist for at least 15 years, and recently had cataracts removed from both eyes, and multi-focal lens implants. From pre-surgical education to both procedures to after-care, the entire process was super-efficient, I learned a lot about my eyes and options for vision correction, and I am very happy with the results. No more eyeglasses for me! Thank you to Dr. Twist and all his staff for a wonderful experience!
Dr. Twist is an excellent doctor and some of his technicians are good, but one of his receptionists is curt and nasty.

Being an Optician that has filled eyeglass prescriptions for post cataract patients for over 40 years, I chose Dr Twist to perform my own personal cataract surgery. I have witnessed the proficiency of Dr. Twist's surgical skills and trust him 110% when it comes to my own eyes. His results have been the best that I have seen in W.N.Y. His staff is very caring and courteous. They didn't make me feel rushed.
I've seen Dr. Twist for almost thirty years and he has advised me well. I have an artificial left eye, so he has always monitored my health and was the first to approve contacts for me in the 80s. He did my cataract surgery and has never left the room until all my concerns were addressed. I don't understand the one star review that said "never" with no explanation; that doesn't help anyone.
Just had eyelid surgery by Dr Twist more than happy with the results. DR twist is very meticulous and has an excellent and courteous staff.
I was told by the women at the desk my insurance wasn't going to be covered anymore, that was fine. I found a new doctor and when I called to inform the office of this the SAME women answered and yelled 'Why? Why are you leaving? Who told you your insurance wasn't covered? Let me speak to them!' I then answered that it was she who told me that and she became louder and yelled at me that I was lying!! I was so shocked I hung up! What kind of doctors office is this? Monitor your employees!
