I saw Dr. Pennycook during my first pregnancy. Any concerns about my sciatica pain were ignored or blamed on my weight. She constantly made me feel ashamed that my BMI was high. After being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I started to see a diabetic specialist at Phelps Health (they were absolutely wonderful.) I would put 0 stars, but that’s not an option. As a female, I had so much faith in seeing a female doctor for my pelvic pain issues thinking it would be easy to explain what was going on and finally find the answers I needed. With all my symptoms, and years of ultrasounds documented, my diagnosis was pointing towards endometriosis and/or andomyosis. I did not appreciate how she acted towards me, she delivered my son and was very rude had an awful look she kept giving me the whole time I was in the hospital. I came to her again for my second pregnancy and she treated me just as poorly as she did before. She focused our entire first ob appointment on negative things and not once made me feel comfortable. She kept making comments to me that made me not want to ask questions or made me honestly just want to walk out of the room. She is not someone who you would want to go t... read more
Dr. Pennycook has great bedside manner and did a great job delivering my son via c-section. I highly recommend her!
