I went in to get 3 moles removed, asked about costs and was told there would be no charge. There was a large mole on my panty line. She said something about having to burn that one, but I guess it never got done. I stood up to get dressed & blood ran down my leg from that mole.I found some stuff to clean up the blood &covered it. I sincerely apologize for the frustration of receiving a bill from the pathologist. All patients are fully informed and consented that elective mole removal will require pathology services. Elective mole removal does require pathology evaluation as the standard of medical care. It is a minor surgical procedure and the specimen is never discarded as this could comprise patient health. Dr. Myers and her staff have been gracious, efficient and effective. She has been very caring; she has answered all our questions, and taken care of our 'questionable' places. We feel that she is experienced and knowledgeable and will take good care of us.
Dr Myers is always thorough and caring in every encounter ive had with her. She diagnosed me with three skin cancers so far. Will be with her for life.
The staff at Dr. Myers' office was quite helpful and friendly, but Dr. Myers was very disappointing. She barely spent any time with me, did not ask me any questions, did not look at my skin or run any tests, did not explain what my condition was or how I got it, could prevent it, etc. Furthermore, when I tried to ask her questions, her answers were very brief, and I got the overall impression that I was bothering her. Dr. Myers is very professional and most courteous. Compared to my prior dermatology experience, Dr. Myers and her staff have exceeded my expectations. The care they provide to their patients is "above and beyond"(both my husband and I now patients.) I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an exceptional dermatologist. I can honestly say that I am VERY excited that I found Myers Dermatology!
Dr Myers and her staff are very efficient and knowledgeable. A huge water fountain is in the waiting area which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Dr Myers performs a wide array of dermatology services. I have gone to her for myself and my 16 year old daughter, we have both been extremely satisfied with the results of her treatment and with our office visits. I highly recommend Dr Myers and her staff for dermatology needs.
She is one of the best doctors that I have been to in Lafayette,La. She really knows what she is doing.
