I saw Jennifer several years ago, during an election cycle. She made it very clear that I could talk to her about my political anxiety -- except that it was very clear, from the way she brought it up, that our views were not aligned. I don't think it's right for a therapist to impose their own political views in a session, and it made me very uncomfortable to continue seeing her. Jennifer is empathetic and treats each of her clients as individuals. She is knowledgeable and is passionate about ensuring she stays on top of the newest information and empirically based interventions. Jennifer has experience treating diverse populations. I would absolutely recommend therapy with her.

Jennifer claims to have experience working with BIPOC clients, but it isn't apparent in my interactions with her. I only had two sessions, and a follow up billing/claim issue and her energy was judgmental each time. There are biases that need to be checked before there is another attempt to help someone in this community. Wishing her all the best on her journey.
