I have seen Dr. Madden (formerly Manuel) twice for an injured thumb joint/ ligament. The first time was for an x-ray and exam where she diagnosed my injury. She answered my questions and was professional and efficient. Today I went back for a follow up and received an exam and a a cortisone injection which she recommended. I hesitated because of my fear of the pain of having an injection in the joint and questioned her about it's value and the pain. She was non judgmental about my choice and explained its benefit.
