My son went to see Jennifer after being diagnosed with a broken wrist. She sent him for a CT scan... read the results and after 3 calls to the office to get him pain and anti inflammatory meds, was told by her extremely rude and condescending assistant that he didn't need surgery or a cast.... come back in a couple of weeks. I sent him to a hand specialist today, who put him in a cast immediately and scheduled surgery for the multiple fractures apparent. Jessica literally made fun of my accent (I'm British) when I asked if t... read more

Business response:
Good day and thank you for sharing your son's experience with us! We will be sure to share your kind words with Dr. Bruggers!
Leg fracture. Dr. Bruggers operated, 2 hours. Stayed overnight. I was disappointed that she did not see me after surgery or followed up in any way until 2 weeks later. I also would have liked to hear specific advice on the rehab process. Questions I sent by email were not answered. Several office visits since then, mainly with her NP, not Dr. Bruggers. Be prepared for long wait times for office visits. It made me feel she does not care.

My left clavicle was broken and overlapped more than 3 cm. She performed surgery on me and installed a titanium plate with 7 screws. I healed beautifully. It is 3 months later and I now completely cleared to do all exercising. My scare is hardly noticeable. She did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her.
I shattered my ankle in April and Dr. Bruggers operated on my leg repairing both my tibia and fibula with a few plates and screws. Every time I spoke with her, she reassured me that I'd be okay and that my progress was going well. She explained the whole process to me and she was clear about how physical therapy would go as well. She answered all of my questions and I trusted her with my treatment. Dr. Bruggers is a wonderful doctor.
Try to not get a trauma injury with Dr.Bruggers if you can't help to do so. I broke my femur last year (Nov 2015) and was transported Kennestone with a trauma injury.I spent several days in the hospital and it was a good healing place to be at that time and has been since the only thing was Dr.Bruggers. I found her very abrupt and non-caring about my health. It's been almost 7 months and I'm still on a walker and in my mid 30's! I would't advise anyone to go to Dr.Bruggers.
Dr Bruggers broke part of a bone off while in the operating room. She did not come to speak to me after surgery, but instead left a message saying she broke part of the tibia off. It's a year and a half later and she would never acknowledge there is a problem and my son cannot walk on his leg without a lot of pain. She kept wanting him to stretch it without any direct answers to what the problem was. I would not recommend Dr. Bruggers.
