Bedside manners are horrible. I went in today as a new patient. Without an understanding of my history, I was ridiculed and judged for not keeping up with previous dental work with another provider. I am not a child, so I am fully capable of knowing my do’s and dont’s in the adult world. However being that I suffer with depression and other related issues, I have my moments where I give up. Dr. Trathen was my regular dentist for over 8 years in FM & at every 6mo. Routine cleaning, no issues until the last cleaning… it was a different experience than normal, I was told I had severe periodontal disease and I would need a $600+ deep cleaning. She was blunt, stoic & not compassionate that I may need a minute to think about what I just heard to ask questions. I’ve been a client for several years. Dr. Trathen is excellent! She’s done a great job with my teeth. And when I’ve needed specialists, her recommendations have been top-notch. She & her team are great!
