The best doctor on this side of heaven!!! I love her!!
I am not impressed. My mother is a patient of Dr. Abt. I do not feel she gets the attention that she needs. Dr. Abt and her NP are not aggressive enough with her her various conditions or ailments. Everything is brushed off. I have asked for referrals to no avail.
I am a fairly new patient to dr abt and while it can be a bit difficult to get in to see her quickly, it is well worth it. She listens, and explains things very in depth so you understand what she is doing and why. I feel so heard with her as my doctor!
I am VERY picky about my primary care physician, having had some really good ones in the past --- as well as some duds. Dr. Abt came highly recommended as a DO, as I was seeking to use a DO instead of an MD for personal reasons. I feel as if Dr. Abt has not only a gift for diagnosing and referring as needed, she's got a pleasant bedside manner. Dr. Abt listens, observes and answers questions. She does not hesitate sending you to a specialist as she wants only the best diagnosis and treatment for her patients. When Dr. Abt is with you it is all about you, making eye contact not about writing on your chart or the computer.
Doctor is great, support staff leave much to be desired
