GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT Most of these comments sound as if they have come from one subcontractor that fell down on the job.The sub didn't complete the work but yet they wanted to be paid in full as if they had, that is not how this business work. Jenkins Construction DOESNT PAY ITS SUB-CONTRACTORS!!! They worked on the Taylor Drain Basin in Taylor, Michigan. They still owe 4 sub contractors at total of 1.2 million dollars. They refuse to pay, and yet they keep winning bids to do work for the county of Wayne. How is this possible? They are breaking the law and the govt. dont care.Jenkins Construction put 4 small companies out of business. Plain and Simple.
I can't believe they are in business !!!! Jenkins Construction needs to stop telling everyone how impressive they are and start concentrating on the basics of construction. I have not come across a poorer run company or a ruder staff.
they talk a good game all there operators and laborers are scabs ! how do they get away with that on goverment jobs , i asked two of there laborers if they were getting pervailing wage they said whats that , not to mention the lack of saftey per osha , or should i say what safety , the worst general contractors in detroit !!!
Shame Jenkins Construction has to be one of the worst companies we have worked with. They are notoriously late in paying their subs and yet JCI is still awared all of the public contracts, how is that possible. I would never recommend JCI for anything other than a court apperance.
