Dr J was the only one who listened to me. Despite my Lyme being caught early I had symptoms everywhere and standard treatment of doxycycline did not work despite two courses. He truly did give me my life back I was so sick. Very thankful to him and true midlevels at this practice that got me better and listened to me.
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE POISON YOU! I would give negative stars if I could. I saw them for a number of years and was so desperate for anyone who even believed in Chronic Lyme back then that I listened to them and let them pump me full of high-dose long-term antibiotics which did nothing but destroy my gut and generally cause other issues making me more sick, the ramifications of which I am still dealing with 10 years later. While he may have claimed to help ALS patients with undiagnosed Lyme- he did not help my father unfortunately. Over 80k countless trips to DC and year of a IV line for antibiotics down the drain. I don’t resent that it didn’t work because they told us there was a small percentage of patients who respond but I found it a little gross to claim they “weren’t giving up on us” when no improvement was seen a year in but still continued to extract antibiotics and services from us. Dr. Jemsek is the brightest doctor I have ever met (and they are many) with a compassionate heart and passion to heal patients. I trust his care because it has worked for me tremendously. I like the efficiency of his patient portal and his friendly staff always readily available to help. If you are in need of Lyme treatment, hands down this is the ONE doctor you need to see. He is a genius!
