BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS – PLEASE PEOPLE.....DO NOT TRUST JEMMA LOANS!!!! I TOOK MY JEWELRY BECAUSE I WAS IN DESPERATE NEED OF CASH AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME. WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP MY JEWELRY TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE THEY ASKED ME TO COME BACK IN THREE DAYS BECAUSE THEY WERE PERFORMING AN INVENTORY AND THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME MY JEWELRY. my jewlery – i took some jewelery here and didn't notice that the clerk didn't but all my jewelry on the receipt, so I called them and was told not to worry cause they but everything in a box for me, will will will bunch of crooks, I went back to get my things and was told they are responsible only for what's on the tickets they robbed me right in front of my own eyes.

Not a Honest Business Beware – I pawned some jewelry after moving into a new place because I needed a few dollars. I missed picking up my jewelry by one day I called that day because I knew they close early on Saturday, no answer. I came in on Monday and was told my jewelry was already sent out for auction and the representative for the store told me to come back in 2 days he was going to try and get my things back. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS – This company is not a legitimate loan company, so please, please, please stay away from this company. Not a legitimate loan company, so stay away . I would not wish the pain and anguish I have experienced as a result of their actions. Brian Macki (Mackey?), scamed my naive husband. My husband PAWNED $50,000.00 worth of jewelry to Jemma as collateral for a loan, My husband made it clear that he intended on returning for the jewelry in two weeks. MUCH IMPROVEMENT!! – Jemma has gotten back on solid tracks, they've increased their hours and the staff has been given a complete overhaul. Any problems that they had have been corrected and they are up and running, buisness as usual. Jemma has been in buisness for many years and they are a Jersey City staple, I highly recommend them.
