He's lived in the Hudsonville area for his whole life, attending Unity Christian High School and Calvin College before going on to Michigan State's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Extremely caring and knowledgable. We are so thankful for everything they do. Our pets are part of our family, and they are treated as such. I highly recommend Jelsema Vet!
All the staff here are so polite, helpful, and knowledgeable! We took our lab here till his final days, and they even sent a thoughtful plant arrangement and garden stone after he passed. We just started bringing our new puppy too, and we couldn’t be happier with Jelsema!

After visiting a few clinics, I decided to go with Jelsema. The night I first met staff, they were friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions and have been for each interaction since. I was there when one of their clients came in after suffering a loss at home. The amount of kindness and empathy they showed while the client was there and after showed me that they truly do care about their clients (fur and human). I highly recommend Jelsema and Dr. Julie!
I'm new at Jelsema so far it's been good Aspen is a little hesitated about going but when she see Nina and the others she knows she will get treats
I transferred from Chicago Drive Vet clinic and it was the best decision I have made. Dr. Jelsma and his staff truly show there love for my dog as if he was there own. They are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. They give you all the options and are so quick to update you on any information. They also do not push products, they suggest and just leave it at your answer without guilt tripping. I have already recommended them to some friends and family.
