Dr Jelen is the best optometrist I’ve ever had in my life. He explained everything he was doing to me, the technology and amount of testing that he did was impressive, he really wants to make sure that your eyes are healthy and he has all the information he needs to take care of you. Highly recommend. His staff is also very nice and bilingual, a lot of Spanish speakers walked in and they were understood and respected. A lot of smiles in the office, you can see that they love what they do.
My husband and I were previous patients with Dr. Rod Garcia and were both very pleased with the new transition of Dr. Jelen and his loyal staff. Dr. Jelen was very thorough and meticulous throughout my examination and whenever I had questions, he explained them with clarity. It is very hard nowadays for find a physician who will actually take the time during an appointment to explain things to you because a lot of them just rush you in and out. Best eye dr and office in madera. Dr Jelen is very thorough and patient. He listened to all my concerns and explained all the photos n exams. Frame selection is broad with many name brands. Both girls there are friendly and helpful, I've never had a question that couldn't be answered. Veronica gets you in and out quick I'm not waiting all day there for my appt. I called to see what their availability was for this week. The first girl was very polite and informed me I would have to make an appointment, and that they even had some openings for this week in the mornings. I told her I'd have to check my schedule but I'd call back. 3 minutes later, I called back and a different girl answers...
