He may be a good doctor but his business is poorly run.
Was referred to him by my son’s therapist for an evaluation for him. Met with him a couple times and the last session was via phone in May. I was self-pay because they didn’t accept our insurance. Told me the report would be ready in a month or so. Checked status in June was told report would be ready in July. Emailed in July and no response so when I called I was told the report would be sent via email that Friday or Monday. Still no report. He’s a pleasant man. Smiled and listened.
I have made more progress with this man than with all my previous 20 years of therapy put together. The fact that he brigs his faith with him into therapy is why I credit my success to my work with this man.
He is an amazing Christian man. The office will not take clients back after they yell at staff and are disrespectful. If you haven’t been to the office in three months, then you would be considered new client if you were there one time and didn’t come back for three months. They are wonderful people to interact with. Kind and caring. No other psychologist would see someone for 60.00 per hour. Highly recommend them.
I have seen him twice. Once was through the VA at his house in Melbourne. Once at his new office. I had given my insurance info in advance was told by his Receptionist (also his wife) that I was covered under my insurance plan. Just before my follow on visit, I received a bill. It was not covered. She stated that he would continue seeing me at $60 per session. I could not afford that. So I could not go back. I recently checked with my insurance and he is now covered.
