Smart, caring and very personable.
Jeff Turner was my Medical Oncologist. I drove 2-4 hours many, many times to see him. I'm 69 years old and he is among a few of the most outstanding doctors I met in my life. His treatment certainly was broader than Oncology, for which he is greatly respected nationwide, and included broad overall health support. Also, like many people who stand out in their practice, he also knew, and referred, to other all-star practitioners. We really miss him in and hope that Oregon appreciates what they have with him.
Dr. Turner is everything you want in a doctor: smart, knowledgeable, dependable and personable. He made he feel comfortable and really listened and then went the extra mile for me to find the best answers during my health crisis. He was my advocate. I can't recommend him highly enough.
Prostate Oncology Specialists are top drawer. One of the great benefits there is there are 3 doctors and you can see any of them because they share info and collaborate. You can get a 2nd or 3rd opinion in the same office! I have seen both Dr. Scholz (highly respected author and lecturer in the field) and Dr. Turner, who I've stuck with because he's so great. These guys have changed my life, if not saved it. I drive from South OC after being "mishandled" there, and it's more than worth it.
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in Hawaii and we ended up flying all the way to California just to see Dr. Jeffrey Turner. He has excellent bedside manners, a wealth of knowledge and has helped our family so much. He has made sure that my dad is receiving the best care in California at UCLA and does everything he can to make sure we are comfortable, happy and fully understand the treatment process. He is always available to answer any questions! We can’t thank Dr. Turner enough!
