I’ve seen Dr. Leen for years with kids. He does specialize in special needs but is great with all my kids. Never had a problem, he’s been spot on, especially when things come up. As far as the refraction cost, it is posted clearly in the office that insurance doesn’t cover it & I know this is pretty much anywhere you go. I had to pay it even with an in network optician that’s supposed to cover everything. After a very long wait, just to have a very quick visit with the actual doctor, I will never return here. I received a bill for $50 for a refraction even though I was told at the doctor's office on the same day of my visit that my son did not receive this service. I paid my co-pay and the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company showed they never charged my insurance for the refraction. The doctor's office refused to reverse this charge.

This practice charge $50.00 not matter which insurance you have stay away from this place or clarify this before scheduling an appointment..they never said anything to me about insurance not covering the visit in full. I called my son's ins and they said they do cover the visit in full and should never had it to paid anything at the Dr. Office. I guess their billing depth just don't want to deal with insurance.
