My mother was referred to Dr. Wolters due to tumor on kidney. Met with him to review procedure and he was very informative. Surgery to remove kidney was recommended. Surgery took place on Friday and mother was discharged on the following Sunday. Dr. Wolters and staff were professional and assisted with follow up appts. Very pleased with Dr. Wolters' professionalism and his knowledge.
Dr. Wolters performed a partial nephrectomy on me in January. Procedure was done robotically and was made aware that the tumor was malignant carcinoma. He took approximately 20% of the kidney and I am ready to return to work a month later. A real no nonsense approach without talking over your comprehension. Great surgeon.

He is so passionate and caring always remembers your name and is like talking to your son. He tells it like it is and performs surgery like non other. I had a prostatectomy and he told me what to expect and if I followed his plan I could have great results. Surgery on 9/4/18 and released from him on 10/24/18. Just as planned. I had cancer cells and my PSA from blood work was non detectable. He is a jewel!!!
Dr. Wolters is Amazing. So caring and down to earth. He ordered a scan on my kidneys and a spot showed up on my lung so he ordered a lung cancer scan and thank God iy was not Cancer but an old pneumonia scar. As many Drs as I’ve seen and not one ever ordered a lung cancer scan. It gave me a new lease on life. Thank you Dr. Wolters. He is located at The Woodlands and every employee there is so nice and friendly.
Dr. Wolters was amazing. He was very positive about my husbands diagnosis and explained it in a way we could understand. His follow up after the surgery was great. He’s very supportive and we always feel uplifted when we leave his office.
Highly recommend Dr. Wolters to anyone with Urology concerns/issues. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. His staff was polite and showed care. His sense of humor and compassion helped calm me during my journey through cancer.
Dr. Wolters was my Urologist who treated me for kidney stones which I had been in severe pain for over 12+months until he saw me. He was a god send and removed the kidney stone that was lodged in my Ureter for over a year until I was introduced to him. Not only was his professionalism out of this world, he treated me like a wonderful person and made me feel comfortable both physically and emotionally before, during and after my surgery. Dr. Wolters removed a small cancerous mass from my left kidney (partial nephrectomy). I understand he has done hundreds of robotic surgeries and this went very smoothly. The pain was minimal and the hospital stay was only two days. Recovery was very fast and after two weeks the only restriction he gave me was to not lift any water heaters for a while (not that I would anyway). I did observe that Dr Wolters is a highly respected by his peers and the hospital staff. .
