It was a positive experience.
My experience with Dr. Matican and his staff could not be better. I was very frightened by some cardiac symptoms. Sensing my concern, Dr. Matican took me as a new patient and immediately fit me into his busy schedule. He gave me the time and reassurance I needed. This fine physician ordered numerous tests and kept me informed, again, demonstrating expertise and extreme patience. Dr Matican is an excellent cardiologist. He takes time with patients, does a very thorough history and physical examination. He answers all questions completely - I always feel I have his full attention and that he is not rushing to the next patient. He has also performed testing on me in the hospital. His office staff is very nice, office is clean and comfortable.
Dr. Matican is a very good physician. He is thoughtful, intelligent, easy to communicate with. Normally the staff is very courteous. Unfortunately during my last visit I was escorted to the room after a 20-30 minute wait and then waited for another 40 minutes. I believe the tech was new & a bit impressed with her self. She roomed me and then slammed the door.Simple courtesy to touch base w the pt would have been so easy and professional when there is an unexpected wait.
I have nothing but the greatest admiration and trust for Dr. Matican! His staff is wonderful. His office is clean and pleasant.
