I had a Basil cell carcinoma removal on the crown of my head that turned into a large wound clear to the skull that could not be sutured close. I was sent to Dr Schmidt directly from my dermatologists and Dr Schmidt stayed open late in order to see me. He spent over an hour explaining my options and which ones were the best and I was scheduled for a skin graft the next week. I not only had my head repaired I got a Neck lift from the donor site. My postop care was excellent as well as the outcome
I saw Dr. Schmidt in the emergency room. Dr. Schmidt was very skilled, professional and yet still took the time to make sure I was fit for the procedure. Dr Schmidt made sure he had all the correct tools to get the job done. After the first side was lanced, Dr. Schmidt gave me a moment to catch my breath. Again, he made sure I was okay before continuing. I felt blessed that such a skilled doctor was there when I needed care and he did care. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt.

And yet, the mark of a great surgeon is one that delivers expected results even under unexpected and challenging circumstances. Doc Schmidt has proven to be a great surgeon. I interviewed 3 surgeons before selecting the Doc. He demonstrates a high aptitude for accuracy and proficiency, stays cool under pressure (I was conscious so I can attest), and delivers on his word. You can't ask for more.
I visited Dr. Schmidt to close an incision on my face left after the removal of a basal cell. Dr. Schmidt was very professional and courteous. I didn't know what to expect, but I received written instructions and found the staff helpful. I just had my final checkup, and both Dr. Schmidt and I are happy with the result. I also received compliments from my dermatologist. I'd definitely choose Dr. Schmidt for future plastic surgery needs.
Dr. Schmidt is an excellent surgeon with high aspirations. He successfully repaired my very large facial wound from a melanoma excision. He was resourceful, diligent and persistent; resulting in an amazing surgical outcome. During all visits he was kind, courteous, confident, and complementary. Referred to Dr Schmidt for a wound that wouldn’t heal. First visit I was very apprehensive & concerned. I left still concerned but my apprehension was gone. At the time of major reconstructive surgery Dr. Schmidt assured me he would care for me as he would for a family member, and, he has! Not only is he a skilled, dedicated surgeon, he is a kind, caring man. I am extremely grateful to Dr Schmidt for the patience & care he has shown me this past 6 months and the wonderful care I have received!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Schmidt. I was bit by my dog, which resulted in a laceration on the bridge of my nose, almost complete separation of the tip of my nose, and a puncture wound under my chin. The reality of losing the tip of my nose was very real, but Dr. Schmidt meticulously stitched me up. I am now two months post injury and I have very minimal scaring and no deformities. Having Dr. Schmidt as my doctor has been such an unreal blessing!
Dr. Schmidt preformed my rhinoplasty and submental liposuction, I am extremely happy with the results. I didn’t have a horrible nose but wanted some changes to the bulbous tip and a slight bump on the bridge of my nose.
