Update: a couple years later I went to a hematologist (the physician qualified to diagnose clotting disorders). I found out then that it takes 12 weeks to diagnose a clotting disorder. With multiple favors. Dr Mathew’s claimed to diagnose me with 1 test. Meaning for years I thought I had a potentially dead disease that I in fact do not. I also went on to see another rheumatologist who told me I do not have any auto immune disorders (matthews diagnosed me with RA). So I got a bunch of misdiagnosis. DR. Rebecca! 10/10 caring, smart, very helpful.
Dr Mathews seemed great saw in twice. Then was told I had to his the nurse practitioner. Which I was totally fine with then she questioned the diagnosis that Dr Mathews diagnosed me with. *BEWARE* Then the Jamie who does the billing is the worst. She could careless and is so rude. We had issues with our insurance and they need more info so I mailed it to them. Then our insurance switch Administrative companies. Worst Doc ive seen. he doesnt listen and blows you off. he obviously didnt read my xrays. Still in pain and now i have to find a good arthritis doctor. dont walk from him, run... if you can. trust me. the xray doc advised to rule out some diseases, which he didnt. my daughter who is a nurse and also has AS came with me and she said he was 10 years behind in the science. it changes all the time. bad bedside manner. what wont listen to you. worst doctor ever.
