The initial consult and evaluation was thoroughly done and gave me hope that my eyesight will improve. He was pleasant, giving me step by step information on how he would improve my vision. I had complete confidence with Dr. Kershaw and agreed to have the surgery done. The two procedures that I had done were a low stress situation. Within a short period of time my eyesight has improved dramatically beyond what I thought was possible. Dr. Kershaw has given me a life changing event. I am forever grateful.

Dr.Kershaw evaluated my Mother (92 yrs old), this summer, set up her two cataract surgeries for Sept. He is very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. [We had seen another ophthalmologist who gave us no hope, stated no longer a candidate for cataract surgery and would not treat the high eye pressure either.] So when I went to see Dr.Kershaw, I was prepared for the worst. He prescribed eye drops for the pressure immediately and set up cataract surgery for first available appts for Sept. The set up of appts were all done by h... read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Kershaw and his staff highly enough. Twice we had to call him on the weekend for emergencies and he responded immediately each time—even driving into the office once in a Sunday morning to examine my daughter’s scratched eye since she was heading back to college that day. We have been going to him for years and feel very lucky to have a doctor of his caliber in Woodstock. I rarely write reviews but Dr Kershaw and his staff are the best. Thank you!

Gorgeous!! Ben Affleck look out! Who care what wrong with eyes! My real doc is Epstein ,aka, Laurence Olivier. But wonderful man ! Mercy should get him a fiat! We need more doctors like this for our future generations! His girls need some perks as well!

I’m 73 years old and do not typically write reviews but I felt compelled to do so in the case of Dr. Kershaw. Dr Kershaw , along with his staff are excellent. I’ve had lots of eye problems throughout the years and Dr Kershaw always takes good care of me. He once drove all the way to his office on his day off just to give me samples of a drug that I couldn’t afford because my insurance wouldn’t cover it. He’s an upstanding gentleman and a great Dr.

Very competent Dr. Dr Kershaw was able to uncover/diagnose what two other ophthalmologists could not. He’s an excellent Dr and worth the 45 minute drive to go see.

Misdiagnosed my basil cell carcinoma on my lower eyelid as a stye. He did not take a history, or conduct an examination at all, but defaulted to the dx of stye after a mere glance. Subsequently, the cancer grew larger and my Optometrist diagnosed it as cancer. Dermatology cut away half of my eyelid, requiring reconstructive surgery, and now I am permanently disfigured. One would expect that a competent ophthalmologist should know the difference between a stye and cancer.
