Dr. Bruening used the Mcbrides technique to remove my husbands bunion. Dr. Bruening is very personable and I found him very easy to talk to. He took extra time to explain the procedure and what to expect post-op. Surgery went extremely well with relatively no pain after the first two days post-op. My husband was up and walking with a medical boot after two weeks, though he felt ready after only one week. This procedure was so much easier than we expected!
This is a review of the office staff as I never got to see the Dr. My appt was for 11AM... At noon, I was told the wait was AT LEAST another 30 Minutes. They do not have the courtesy to tell you when you arrive that the doctor is running AT LEAST 90 MINUTES behind the scheduled appointments. Then when you ask for a refund of your co-pay, they are rude stating there "Are others in front of you!" The earliest appointment they offer is 9AM. How many people do they wedge into a 2hr period?
My experience with Dr. Bruening was excellent. His staff are not knowledgeable about health insurances. I am still waiting for an answer about inserts that I do not know if I need to pay for. I have called several times due to their rudeness I do not want to call anymore.
