My experience was good with Dr. Cohen. Didn’t wait long, he did a thorough exam, correct diagnosis & he relieved my anxiety.
Made 2 babies wait 1.5 hours. Not great patient care.

Since the day I met Dr Singer he has impressed me with his knowledge, flexibility, and treatment plans. He has really taken the time to get to know my medical history, he listens to my requests and he is flexible. I have gone in there with an issue and he works until we have a plan to resolve it. Even if that means call the insurance at that moment and take care of the treatment so that I don’t need to come back for another appt. He will thoroughly explain the issue and answer questions.
Dr Singer has helped to save my eyesight because of diabetic ma up at degeneration. He has helped us through the years. He keeps up with the newest methods to save one's eyesight. Was able to be in some studies. He is most kind. He is the best!!
Let me begin by saying that I normally do not leave reviews. But I am so frustrated and angry with Dr. Singer and his staff that I feel I need to share. My husband has a eye condition called CSR. He's been dealing with it for a few years and seeing Dr. Singer for at least 3 years. Dr. Singer is always in a hurry, dismissive, rude and lacking any bedside manner. Our last visit was so hurried that he couldn't get out of the office fast enough and failed to sign a prescription. We won't be back.
Had an appointment at 330 and was not acutely seen by the doctor until after 5. Brought my son in for a stye and they dilated his eyes without informing me until she was already putting drops in them. Was then told by the doctor my sons needs glasses even after he passed his eye exam with the tech and had passed all of his previous eye exams. He is listed as a pediatric opthamologist but is not kid friendly at all.
Dr. Cohen has been our son's doctor since he was 18 months. At 5years old, he had his first surgery for strabismus on both eyes. Dr. Cohen is the best!! Everything he instructed us to do after surgery worked. We were once told that Dr. Cohen knew exactly what he was doing and it was so true! We live 4hrs away from San Antonio but it is worth driving this way to see him. I would recommend him to any parent that might have a child with strabismus. He will take good care of your child for sure!
Very pleased with sons eye outcome. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Kind of cut and dry, but knows what he is doing!
