Very considerate; you should meet with him a few times so he can understand your needs better. I've been seeing him for four years at this point and I can say that our patient-provider relationship has never been better. Be honest, he will listen and provide his professional opinion leaving options for you to discuss your specific concerns. I have come to appreciate our professional relationship the older I get. Great guy; he knows a ton about mental health issues in addition to general primary care concerns.
VERY Uncomfortable experiences recently. After hearing more from my adolescent I started to realize truly what was going on. I transferred our records to another pediatrician and recommend anyone there now PAY ATTENTION and if you were there in the past PLEASE speak up! Here is a link I recommend https://www.bivonacac.org/
My daughters and some young NA friends went to him while struggling with addiction and chemical dependency. All was well and everyone was doing better, but the complaint I've heard more than once from quite a few people was that he is MUCH friendlier with the boys . Very smiley ,patient, buddy buddy and willing to listen..,with girls he is impatient, often annoyed, quite judgemental and short when they describe the same issues.it's obvious he would prefer not have to deal with females at all.
I have never had a doctor ask so many questions to better understand the situation. On follow up visits, he routinely goes back to previous discussions to see how things have changed. He is never happy with results being 'good enough'. He believes in trial and error, trying all available solutions until a he finds the right match for each individual. I have never felt rushed. When I am there, it always feels like his focus is entirely on me, not the next patient, or when is he done for the day.
That previous comment is wrong. He is very easy going, easy to talk to and helps you understand everything about your plan and treatment. Would deffinetly recommend him to friends and family.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This doctor is extremely arrogant. Completely uncomfortable experience at this office - and the number one thing you want from a doctor is ease/comfort. Awful experience, please go anywhere else.
