I had a surgery consult with Dr. Cohen today in advance of my upcoming Coronary Artery Bypass Graft surgery. Dr. Cohen answered all my questions patiently, clearly, and thoroughly. He does an excellent job of making his patients feel comfortable and confident in his ability to successfully perform the surgery. He also successfully performed mitral valve replacement surgery on my wife nearly 3 years ago. Our experience with Dr. Cohen has given us both a high level of confidence and comfort in being treated by him.
Dr. Cohen is rare. While facing open heart surgery, I am still at peace knowing Dr. Cohen will oversee the procedure. He is highly qualified, he has top credentials and his dedication to his patients is reflected by him making sure I understand the surgery, all the medical terms, and most important, all of my options.
