I was a child who had Dr. Hardin as my pediatrician until I was old enough to choose my own doctor. Unknowingly I was struggling with clinical depression even as a young child and I confided to her that I wished to harm myself. Not only did she not inform my parents of this, she dismissed me as if I was just some dumb kid. It wasn’t many years later when I actually attempted. Please seek a pediatrician that values your children.
My experience was poor bedside manner and sarcasm. I would never recommend him to anyone. He didn't take our concerns seriously and couldn't recognize a case of thrush that was obvious on sight to an orthopedic doctor we saw for something totally unrelated. He told us it was from milk. Look elsewhere if you want quality care.
Dr. Hardin is truly a gem. She is funny, actually listens to concerns, and is clearly both passionate and knowledgeable. I trust her implicitly!
Dr. Hardin is our favorite of all the practitioners at Northside Pediatric. She has a great sense of humor, stays on top of medical advancements, and she even helped us continue our son's audiology care with the audiologist we love so much as part of his treatment for unilateral microtia! She always enters remembering details about both of our kids, which is really reassuring, and she has always taken the time necessary to listen and understand concerns that we have.
Dr. Hopkins has been our kid's pediatrician for the last 20 years. During that time we have consistently received excellent care from him. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and easy to talk to. Even when faced with odd symptoms and complex problems, he is always on the money as a diagnostician. He knows how to zero in on a problem and get to the bottom of it. He takes the time to explain what he's thinking that leads him to conclusions. Additionally, he always gives a timeframe for test results and always calls us pers... read more
Dr. Hopkins has been the primary care physician for my son for many years. I do not see how he could be a better primary care physician. Dr. Hopkins first examined my son the day he was born. Now that my son is 21 years old, and soon to graduate college, with mixed feelings, it is time for him to find a new primary care physician (since Dr. Hopkins is pediatric). Throughout the last 21 years, without exception, Dr. Hopkins always has been an excellent physician. He always answered all questions and addressed all concerns. He... read more
Dr. Hopkins has been the Best Doctor I have known and I have known a few fantastic doctors/specialists to be counted on one hand! He has always been here for our 3 boys and Never Left a Stone Unturned when it came to the health and well being of our 3 boys but also us as a family! Thank You Dr. Jeffrey Hopkins So Much! Sincerely, The Sidney Family
Dr. Hopkins takes caring about his patients seriously with excellent follow-up and care.
We have been bringing our boys to Dr. Hopkins since their births (oldest son is 14) and have always had great experiences. He is an excellent, caring doctor that really listens, has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. The boys think he's great as well-"he's a cool doctor" ;). When we have had medical issues, he is quick to come up with a plan and likewise, quick to follow-up. We highly recommend him as a top pediatrician!
