Jeff worked his magic and unit working 100% better!!
Our oil furnace developed an annoying whine when we switched from a below ground tank to an above ground tank. We called our local service tech who regularly serviced the unit, but the only solution he could offer was to insulate the fuel lines from the house framing and hopefully not transfer as much noise. We put up with the whine for while but when it got below freezing the noise got worse and started making knocking noises as well. Jeff brought my 'dinosaur' of an oil heater back from the dead. It is an ancient beast and hadn't had a tune-up approximately 20 years. Several parts were out of date and out of code. It is running quieter, warmer and hopefully cleaner now. He was great sharing his knowledge and letting me know that the prognosis for the future of my heater is probably not good. Although I may be turning to a less expensive source for heat in the future, I can highly recommend Jeff for your oil heating needs.
