Typical dealership!!! They all sweet and nice while you're in there trying to buy a car. As soon as You sign the paperwork, you're on your own!!! All that understanding and availability have disappeared. Just give me more money that all I care about!!! Do not recommend this place nor people that work here!!!

On ****** *,2023 I bought a 2020 **** *********. I drove the car it was good. I traded in my 2016 truck an everything look good. I sign all my paper work an it was downloaded on a small hard drive.. When I went to the office to print up the documents I noticed the paper with the financing was missing... I call Jeff smith. The finance manger said he would mail it to me. I also told him to drop the extended warranty on the car because I didn't want it anymore...10 days later I still had not received it..so I drove back asked f... read more

I had an awful experience with Jeff Smith ford service department . My unserviceable taillight went out , and naturally it was not under warranty. The part was $715, so after calling Corporate Ford to complain they were awesome with helping me by doing the right thing and covering most all of the part an swapping. Where the problem comes in is that after waiting almost 2 weeks the part came in and an appointment was given to me. I delivered the Explorer to Jeff Smith the afternoon before (Tues) and the run around started. Fi... read more

I am not one to complain about a business but I do NOT recommend buying a vehicle from ANY Jeff smith dealership.I bought my car 8 months ago and ever since then they have given us nothing but issues with getting things repaired. I brought my car in just shy of a month ago to get it repaired. We were told it's the transmission. Let me start off by saying when we bought the car we asked multiple times and asked 2 DIFFERENT people about the warranty. Our main concern was us living over and hour away and the car needing to serv... read more

On September, 27 2021, would be one of the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Sadly, Jeff Smith Ford of Byron is a dealership filled with liars and fraudulent sales men. So, we arrived at the dealership in search of a used vehicle. Suddenly, we are greeted by the salesman named Bronco. We told Bronco what we were in search of and he brought out a very beautiful Silverado truck. Immediately, we took the vehicle for a test drive. However, we notice that the airbag light was on. So, we asked Bronco, would this be fixe... read more

Expect the total cost of getting a programable key purchased & programmed to be at least $230. My experience started with a young parts guy saying it would be $65 & yes that includes programming. Then service said oh no - takes an hour of service time at $140 in addition to key purchase, but then when paying I see another $21 for misc. shop supplies- when I complained I was told that misc. shop fee is added to all service tickets even key programming- I will not be a repeat customer. Transparency in pricing is not high enoug... read more

e purchased our first vehicle in January of 2020. We had great experience all the way around. In January of this year (2021). My husband decided he was ready to purchase his first new truck so we went back to Jeff Smith. Our salesman was good. My husband found the perfect truck. I made a last minute decision to trade my ca in and get a newer SUV. Once again the sales man was good but the problems began when we got to finance. We struggled to get my payment on my vehicle at the right monthly amount. We were finally able to re... read more

I bought a 2020********** from Jeff Smith ford in December 2020. It only had 1 fob key. I was told would resolve this. I waited and waited and called several times, Nothing happened. I had a fob key made and paid for it . I sent them a letter and a receipt from the locksmith. Still nothing. I went to the dealership and they refused to pay. The bill total was $230.05. I paid over 36,000 for this truck. There is no service after the sale at Jeff Smith Ford. Stay away from this dealership.
