Better quality control on parts included in Jeep air kits. I ordered a kit for a 1993 Jeep YJ and the kit that was sent had the wrong serpentine belt included and the blower fan in the evaporator was rubbing the sides of the housing, resulting in the fan motor shaft stripping out the plastic bushing. Ended up having to purchase another belt that was the correct size and a new blower fan to reinstall in the evaporator. The kit was over $1000 to start with.

I received my hose kit for 87-95 and it all looks good. My YJ Sahara has factory air and I noticed that the small hose in kit for dryer to condenser has 90 bend on both ends. My factory has a 90 only on one end at condensor. It looks like it will work If long enough and may be better than existing line. My kit came with new fittings for compressor. Are there any seals that go on the fittings when installing them on the compressor? Thanks.

I recently purchased a complete a/c kit for my 2004 Wrangler with the 4.0l and I couldn't be happier. I purchased the kit and decided to do the installation myself, even though I was a little nervous in doing so. I found the directions to be very helpful and the parts to be a good quality. I had a couple of minor questions and the team at Jeep Air was quick to help answer them. I am very happy with my a/c and will recommend Jeep Air to all of my Jeeping friends.
in all my years of working on jeeps since 1983 I am a ASE certified technician and specialize in ac after all I live in FL jeep air has the cheapest parts on the market these kits are not OE there aftermarket made in china parts they state that there OE after installing an ac unit on a 2003 wrangler had major problems no bolts supplied had to supply my own bolts after compressor broke because of shimming and spacers that are needed an OE compressor has no shims after putting second compressor on handling it like gold shimmin... read more
