Pleased to find an independent, qualified appraiser that is not a jewelry store employee. She had us meet in her office, which doubles as her real estate office, and had all the equipment necessary to evaluate my pieces. We spent 3 hours together, painstakingly evaluating each piece of my jewelry. She also made sure the jewelry never left my sight. Wow! What an experience! I'd give her 100 stars if I could. I say experience because that's what it was. Ms. Hawk was very friendly, intelligent, and a true professional. She went way beyond what I expected. She didn't just give me info on what I brought in but so much more! I learned so much on my item, the science behind it, the industry, gem education, appraisers, insurance, and gave me a professional summary folder to keep for my records.
