Been to a lot of BBQ places around the country, including Memphis, Texas, St. Louis, Arizona, etc,...This was was the best I have had. It actually tied with this little road side place I stopped at on a highway just outside of San Antonio to be honest, but definitely tied for the best, and right in our town. Tender ribs, great brisket burnt ends, fresh cut fries and very expansive menu. Great service too. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
This place is exceptional! Never had a better brisket or pulled pork meal. Staff is friendly, place is clean. Food is wonderful- try everything at least once! If you like blues music, sports and a good cooking show you will not be disappointed either. We go to JD's for all our family get-togethers. Never let us down. The owner, Gary is a doll and makes us feel welcome every time.
Incredible half brisket and pork sandwich. I told him I was a first timer here and what he would recommend, this sandwich was outstanding.

My favorite BBQ joint! My wife and I just stopped in for our anniversary and every time we come it's a great experience. Food is great, music is great, people are nice, fantastic beer selection...all good things!
