YUM YUM YUM. I absolutely adore the bbq @ JD's and am so sad that they closed their Glenview location! If you're lucky enough to live by their Arlington Hts restaurant, you MUST try their burnt ends w/ fries. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Food is good but a bit pricey. Ordered the beef brisket, came on a large oval plate that looked kinda bare....small portion. Sides are very good. We tried the baked beans and coleslaw, along with the deep fried green beans. The green beens were excellent.
I did not have good luck at my first trip here. I ordered the burnt ends brisket dinner and my mouth was watering waiting to taste the crispy goodness. However, what I got was a very fatty spoonful of meat served on a platter without a burnt end in sight. Everyone else in my party said they enjoyed their dinner so I am willing to give it another try but I was very disappointed with my selection.
Had takeout. Brisket was solid. Ribs were very good. Cornbread and coleslaw were hits.
Hands down the best BBQ out there. Haven't found a place that comes close!!!!
