If I could give zero stars, I would. This company sent us the wrong engine, then failed to cover the shipping costs to return it and send the correct one. Now I am being contacted by a debt collector because the freight charges were never paid. When I called the business, they refused to take responsibility and told us to “ignore” the debt collectors. DO NOT TRUST JDM Motor. If I could give zero stars, I would. They failed to pay their freight charges, which means I ended up having to deal with the freight company directly or risk being sued. The company even sent me the wrong engine initially, though they eventually sent the correct one. What made things worse was how unhelpful Omar was on the phone. The owner is very nice guy
This place operates like a textbook bait-and-switch. I called Tennessee JDM Motors about a JDM transmission for my Honda Accord. Without even seeing the car, the owner pulled a $2,200 estimate out of thin air. No inspection. No written quote. No breakdown. Just a random number. He then told me I could have the car towed there. So I paid to have my disabled car towed from another shop to their location. When the tow truck arrived, the business wasn’t even clearly marked.
