I got the New York Frites and was extremely disappointed. It was like they took some meat that’s been sitting in the freezer for over a year and just defrosted it on a skillet. For a $70 steak I expected a lot better. If this was a Dennys I wouldn’t be surprised but for an upscale restaurant I was appalled.
We had one of the flat breads and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Flat bread was awesome, but the ham appeared to be that packaged stuff from a grocery store deli area, and was crunchy(?) Our server was gracious and moved us from patio to indoors, as we didn't dress for the weather. We forgot(?) our CC, and had to return for it, after one of us was at GRR ready to depart for a vacation destination. One of the other servers took care of our "2nd" transaction, and was awesome. I’ve got 4 words for you… Hanna, Hanna, Hanna and Hanna. Hanna at the hostess stand was great and super accommodating as we were late getting to the hotel, she was able to adjust our reservation on short notice. The next Hanna comped or appetizer because our entrees were delayed. You’ll have to dig into the culture here to find out what the other two Hanna’s can provide, but I assure you, you won’t be be disappointed!
