I'm new to Decatur. I found one of their properties on Zillow. Requested a tour (zillow says I can request a tour). However, in reply of my request, I received a message saying that an application must be completed prior to viewing a property. They listed a website where I had to go to the link and fill out an application. I came here instead to see if they were even a legitimate company. I tried to get information on some of their properties, and I was told that I would have to fill out and pay for an application before ANY of my questions would be answered. Requiring a fee before answering if there is dedicated off street parking is ridiculous. Requiring a fee before answering if there is a step up into the house is ridiculous. Tried for several weeks to secure a rental, as I’ll be in the area for a year of work. Their customer service is absolutely WORTHLESS. I could not get anyone to actually call me and answer any questions. They “respond” (as in have a utterly useless auto-reply message) to text only. Cannot stress enough, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS and save yourself the headache. Absolutely terrible, on all accounts. I have no idea how they actually manage to have any properties.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT OR CONTATC THIS COMPANY! This Company is a scam!!! I have contacted them over 2 months ago about a house in a poor area of Decatur. Lady answering was rude as can be. Not very business like at all. My 13 yo could answer phones better then she can. Was told several times house has been rented however still on market Place and the picture of outside is OLD because the front porch in person looks like its ready to fall off.
Takes money, don't fix anything when told about them. Too quick to listen to complaints and not getting the tenants side. Never able to get ahold of them. They return never phone calls. They kick you out and expects you to pay their lawyer fees
