I'm new to Decatur. I found one of their properties on Zillow. Requested a tour (zillow says I can request a tour). However, in reply of my request, I received a message saying that an application must be completed prior to viewing a property. They listed a website where I had to go to the link and fill out an application. I came here instead to see if they were even a legitimate company. I tried to get information on some of their properties, and I was told that I would have to fill out and pay for an application before ANY of my questions would be answered. Requiring a fee before answering if there is dedicated off street parking is ridiculous. Requiring a fee before answering if there is a step up into the house is ridiculous. Tried for several weeks to secure a rental, as I’ll be in the area for a year of work. Their customer service is absolutely WORTHLESS. I could not get anyone to actually call me and answer any questions. They “respond” (as in have a utterly useless auto-reply message) to text only. Cannot stress enough, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS and save yourself the headache. Absolutely terrible, on all accounts. I have no idea how they actually manage to have any properties.

Takes money, don't fix anything when told about them. Too quick to listen to complaints and not getting the tenants side. Never able to get ahold of them. They return never phone calls. They kick you out and expects you to pay their lawyer fees

Well you think they are good people til they find a blind spot. So yes I was wrong on my behalf on leaving nice stuff in the house when I moved. But I also left a note saying I was lying it forward because someone who needed it. Anyways. They make over way more money but going to send a few hundred dollars to the collection. I was always on time. Always kept communication opened with them. But yeah. They are good people just be careful with them and watchful.
