Defensive Hair Stylist I like JCPenny salons because they are affordable and easily work around my schedule. I had an ok experience when I went to the Lombard location. Everything was going well until I saw the color and asked for a couple more foils to be added. The stylist was very offended and proceeded to be defensive about my request. The stylist did a great job finishing my color. I was confused about the defensive attitude and will not be returning to this location.
JC Penney This is the first store I think of going when I need cute clothes. JC Penney's is always having a sale so you mostly get everything on sale! The latests style clothing, friendly workers, great prices, you can find just what you need at JC Penneys.
Suri doesn't know how to do an "up-do" I went there to get a "Step-Mother of the Bride" up-do. I had gone to Fran-Coys for the original but they were all booked for our date. I figured Penney's would be less expensive and just as good. I was wrong on BOTH counts. I asked for an experienced person for an up-do and was assigned to Suri. She didn't even want to even see the pics I had of the up-do I had from Fran Coys or other pictures. She said she knew what she was doing. WRONG!!!!! Portrait Studio Deserves Kudos My local Penney's Portrait Studio is definitely above par. Angel, the manager, is such a joy to work with. She remembers me each time I come in. I've noticed that she is this was with many returning customers. She is very good at taking unique pictures, and I always try to get her as my photographer whenever possible. If you join the Portait Club (don't know the current fees as they change often), you can get incredibly inexpensive pictures that are nice quality. Definitely not the absolute bes... read more
Happy Client I have used JCP Portraits in the past for my kids and most of the time have been very happy with the results. They have a portrait club you can join and get free 8x10 with your photo shoot as well as no sitting fees. Not bad at all. Like another person said they will get SWAMPED during peak hours so during the holidays and special portrait time you're better off making a reservation.
JC Penney Beaty Salon I took my daughter here to get her hair cut and when the stylist saw I was trying to persude my daughter to go for a new style she also helped persuade. Alas to no avail. The stylist did though give her a very nice blunt cut.
Great Bedding They always have great sales. I found a beautiful bedding set on sale for $98 that was originally $450. It came with seven pieces or so and it is made with quality fabric. PROS: Great store with a variety of items. CONS:
