I went there for my birthday as it was something I've wanted to do for years. I love Jon Bon Jovi, his music, his talent and most of all his huge giving spirit. The concept is phenomenal and I'm so grateful I got my chance to go. The volunteer that sat everyone opened the door for us and gave us a huge welcome. We sat with people we didn't know but quickly got to know them, which is another great concept of this restaurant. 5 stars for what they are doing to help the hungry. BTW, the food was excellent also. The two manager's working were extremely nice to myself and Ava. Will come back again soon and hopefully Jon will be working.

I had the pleasure of having brunch on a Sunday morning a few weeks before the holidays. I was a party of one. The host asked me if I would like to dine alone or sit with a party. I chose to sit with a party of three and we all immediately hit it off and had a wonderful time. The food and service was out of this world! Delicious!! Soul Kitchen is a special place. It is filled with the most sincere people that make you feel welcome from the second you walk in. I loved being able to pay it forward and discretely provide someone else the opportunity to have a delicious meal. It is a gem! What a great concept! Lou was awesome! We will return!
Great experience. The staff was wonderful and the food was great. I love the idea of paying it forward.
