When we opened Jazzy John's BBQ, our goal was to create a neighborhood destination where both locals and visitors could come together for authentic Oklahoma-style barbecue in a laid-back setting. Nice place tuck into a corner of a shopping mall. The food was tasty, ribs, chicken, shredded pork was mildly favored with a sweet aroma. Tasty sides of beans and coleslaw, reminds me of a south Texan restaurant. Why go all the way into Portland! Barbecue happening right here!

The gods were with us when we chanced upon Jazzy John's BBQ yesterday! We haven't had great BBQ for a long time due to my wife's wheat allergy, never being sure of the sauces, bread or preparation. Jazzy John's had gluten-free cornbread, buns and sauces. Even aside from that, some of the best BBQ we'd ever had -- brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs. Great sides, too -- greens, slaw, roasted taters. Had the combos for lunch and there was plenty leftover for dinner!
