Stellar burger. I was visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely have to try the sushi next time.
I ordered a Goldsboro roll with sauce on the side the waiter stated he didn’t write it down. I asked for some sauce for the rice and I got a cup of tasted like liquor... my first experience here was great this time was terrible. I will go next door to the other restaurant next time..
We came into town to visit our son who is at Seymour Johnson and wanted to take him out to eat. He heard goods things about Jay’s but hadn’t been there, so we decided to try it out. We got 2 different kinds of sushi which were amazing and the Jay’s burgers with Kobe beef that were so delicious! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Jay’s but go early because it gets very busy!
Love this place. The hostess was lackluster at best this visit. We come here on our way either to or from trips to Raleigh and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Ditch the hostess. Our server was nice and on the mark.
The food, service, menu and bar were all great! The bar, eating rooms and restrooms were all very clean and it was a cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!
Words are to express the sure delight of eating at One of North Carolina’s Gems! Can’t wait till the new location opens... but visit them all! 😋
The hostess was rude over the phone calling in the order but we still ordered thinking we were calling the *New Jay’s on Spence across from Sumo. She never acknowledged that she was located downtown so we drove to pickup our food even through the rain. I asked for crispy sweet potato French fries and received my order with a dill pickle in my container with my sweet potato fries on top. So what now?!?
