One of my favorite places to eat. The food is always good and we always feel at home.
I go to Jays' Place a lot. He is always consistent and the food and drink is always good. The service is usually excellent too. A friendly atmosphere and a fun place to be. Easy to get to. I do hope you will try it.
I was just at Jay's last night. Not sure why the previous person posted such a harsh rating and piercing statements! I've been going to Jay's for many years and the food has always been marvelous no matter what I have ordered. If you are looking for The Ritz, go find it! This is a terrific hometown restaurant, which for the most part is a hidden gem...you know, one of those that if you ask the locals they will tell you their favorites. Jay's is one of the best!!! Best steak in Oneonta by far!
The fried oyster appetizer was excellent. Wings were smoking hot however the Biloxi crab and mushroom Alfredo was lacking anything Cajun and lump crab as described. The pan seared scallops were pleasantly tasty. Their new England clam chowder was also good. Ambience was lacking and great job to whoever took the picture of the bar posted on here because it looks amazing unlike the real thing.
Best prime rib and house potatoes and can always count on great service ��to jay and staff
