There was zero follow up after an initial procedure that showed irregularities - and multiple messages to his office went unanswered. After eventually getting through (because it had been over a month since my testing and I refused to hang up until I got ahold of a nurse) I was prescribed a medication that did not work / had negative effects. I saw Dr. Talreja several years ago for unmentioned GI issues. It was a long wait for the initial appointment, but I was happy with my actual appt with him. He answered questions and listened to me. However, I've had 2 gastroscopies since then and was very unhappy with the care in the gastroscopy center on Staples Mill Road. They treat patients like cattle, rushing them through way too fast. I had just awakened from the anesthesia, I was barely awake, and the nurse put me into a wheelchair and rolled me out the door into our... read more
