My mother had a rude encounter with this physician. She went in complaining of halitosis and a sore throat. Even I was able to identify it as tonsil stones, and I’m only a medical scribe. Dr. Rechtweg stated it was likely from acid reflux despite the fact that my mother stated having a history of tonsil stones.
He listened well and took my issues one by one and ordered tests for me.
Misdiagnosed me and was so condescending. Horrible experience.

I’ve been going to him for over 20 years. He is a great doctor when you’re ill and he has no room for you. He will see you the staff is great. The guy is such a good doctor I recommend him to anybody he gives out 110%.

Dr. Rechtweg was very good. I was taken in early and he was efficient during the appointment. Didn’t talk over me like some doctors do. Seemed focused on his hypotheses regarding possible diagnoses based on my symptoms, but clearly explained his treatment plan and expectation for me regarding follow up. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment, after my sleep test is done and the results are in.
I've been seeing Dr. R., for over 20 years. There is a reason why I keep coming back. Him and Giana are AMAZING
