Dr. Mattheis is wonderful. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The front reception is friendly and and cheerful. Dr. Mattheis is the consumate professional, takes his time, answers the myriad of questions I "threw" at him..lol..very pleased and will return. This office is so much better than the factory line at Shepard. I highly recommend Dr. Mattheis and Wellish Eye Institute.
DR. Mattheis works for workers comp. He gives diagnosis without collaborating with your eye doctor and also gives diagnosis to please the employer not the injured worker. It is a very corrupt system we have for workers comp . All that matters to these doctors is the paycheck they are receiving to sway for the employer, Insurance companies and the unethical attorneys.
