Dr Friedberg diagnosed and treated two very rare eye conditions for me. I was seen immediately and treated professionally. I was referred by a retinal specialist who told me “as long as he is in practice I would see him above anyone else”. I am grateful for Dr Jay Friedberg without him I would’ve lost my site and ended up with an unsightly residual eyelid condition.
First, plan to be there for three hours for an eye exam. This is normal, as it was the case twice in two years. After my eye exam, I received a bill for $175. I understood from the last time I was there that this doctor didn’t take vision insurance, but instead went through medical insurance since he was an MD. Although it later dawned on me that no one had asked if my health insurance had changed (and it did), I would wait to hear from them.
