I'm writing this to warn others about the appalling lack of professionalism and medical incompetence I experienced at this APLA Health location. After being referred for an acute injury documented by the ER, I was met with hostility, dismissiveness, and a total lack of regard for my recovery. Honestly, the best primary care providers i've ever had in Los Angeles. Dr. Arthur Vermeulen is by far the best doctor i've had. He's really great, attentive and kind. The phlebotomy team are so great too, i have deep vain's - it's always a struggle to draw blood, within 10 seconds of meeting the phlebotomy person and her realizing this was going to be difficult, 2 other people rushed in to figure out the best way to get blood without harpooning me multiple times. i felt really cared for and they were great. continued great ... read more
Best overall health clinic experience of my life. Made an appointment easily for free STD screening since my regular clinic has lost funding. Did paperwork in advance, was in and out in 30 minutes, and got my results back in one day. Wow. Thanks APLA.
This doctor’s office is truly wonderful. I’m new to California, and they’ve made the whole transition so much easier. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their patients. Every visit has been smooth, and I’ve always felt comfortable and well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for great care.
