Dr. Geoghagan may well be technically competent. However, I agree with those who describe him as arrogant and talking down to you. Also, his office is about as bad as I've seen at communicating and follow-up. His office conducted a test 3-4 weeks ago, they have the results, but I'm still waiting to here what they were and to discuss them.
Dr. Geoghagan is the doctor who guided me through a triple by-pass. I experienced some recovery problems following the successful by-pass operation. I attribute his care, advice, and encouragement during and after a three week hospital stay is what got me through it. I consider him the best doctor who has ever attended me.
I know of at least two people that this doctor said was fine, and come to find out they had congestive heart failure. I realize he probably went to school, but he cuts you off, and don't let you explian things either. He assumes he know what's wrong with you in 5 minutes, but he don't. Also very long wait times. Bottom line I would definitely get a second opinion.

THANKS WITH ALL MY HEART & I GOTTA GO BACK FOR STENTS AND SURE GLAD I GOT A APPOINTMENT WITH HIM I WILL BE COMFORTABLE KNOWING LEAST NOT GETTING TRIPLE BYPASS THIS BE CAKEWALK ?? LISTEN TO HIM I DIDNT REASON NEED STENTS ?? DO THE LEARNING ON WHAT TO EAT & DO AFTER HE FIXES YA ?? ?? STOP SMOKING I SURE DIDN'T ?? BUT HOPEFULLY HE FIX ME AGAIN ?? IN AUGUST
Very patient oriented, explains problems and what your choices are for best results patient
Was very uncaring and talked down to me. Basically said since my mother was 80!just let her die. I have never experienced such an arrogant person. Very upset!
